let's talk about your content ecosystem shall we?!

content creation should not feel like a full-time job to you...because sis, your full-time job is the actual business you're building. your content marketing is just a tool to help you get your awesomeness out into the world.


this means that every piece of content that you post about your business should have a WHY and a goal connected to it. because, we don't have time to make content just for the sake of making content, we have an entire business to run.


a content ecosystem has been my little secret sauce when it comes to this.


so wtf is a content ecosystem?

I define it as the way in which every piece of content that is posted on the internet about my business works together to meet my overall business goals...aka they're all somehow connected to eventually move the needle with my goals.


now, idk about you, but I'm definitely a visual person, I need to see things to understand what someone is talking about...cue diagram...





let's break this down...


you create a lead magnet based on a product/offer/service that you have.


you create blog posts and/or long form content that talk about the problems/pain points your target audience faces that are solved within your lead magnet + offering ending with a direct CTA to your lead magnet (you'll see this at the end of this blog😉).


you break that blog post and/or long form content into short form content for platforms like instagram/tiktok/pinterest. your CTA for all those short pieces of content is to direct your followers to the blog post and/or long form content. once they consume the long-form content, they download your lead magnet, and you direct them to your welcome series on your email list and/or a sales page.


so in an ideal world, this would like: someone comes across your reel on instagram > they get re-directed to your blog > they download your freebie > they become part of your badass tribe.


I hope you're picking up what I'm putting down baybee. we have to be strategic when it comes to what we're creating, and we have to find ways to leverage one piece of really great content in multiple ways!
