i'm not sure why it's this taboo topic in the world of social media...but here we go.

IT'S OKAY IF PART OF YOUR MARKETING STRATEGY INCLUDES PAY PER CLICK (PPC) ADVERTISING...aka...you can pay to get eyes on your brand, it's not a bad thing. there's a lot of social media gurus who push the idea of only growing organically...which yes, is ideal! but, some industries and niches do best with a ppc budget. some companies have the extra revenue to invest in ppc. and quite honestly, ppc can give you a leg up when it comes to growing quicker.

so why is it something the gurus don't talk about?

...honestly, i'm not sure🤷🏾‍♀️maybe pushing the idea of organic growth is a lot more fun? and maybe because a lot of business owners don't have the budget for ppc? i'm not sure. tbh, i have grown businesses strictly through organic marketing on social media...and it was amazing...but it took a lot longer than when i had the money and capital to invest in ppc advertising.

let's break it down a bit further, sis.

the power of organic growth

organic growth, the kind that happens naturally, is like a slow burn. it's the result of your hard work, your consistent posting, and your audience falling in love with what you offer. there's no doubt it's rewarding, and it builds a solid foundation. but here's the catch - it takes time, and it can be a real test of patience.

the PPC shortcut

now, let's talk PPC. it's like the express lane to growth. with PPC advertising, you're essentially paying to put your brand in front of a larger audience - quickly. it's like a booster shot for your visibility. In some industries, especially those with fierce competition, PPC can be a game-changer. it's about getting your brand out there, ASAP.

so, why the silence on PPC?

it's a head-scratcher, right? maybe it's because the idea of organic growth is more appealing. after all, who doesn't want to see their brand flourish naturally, like a beautiful garden they've nurtured from a tiny seed? it's a feel-good story.

or maybe it's because many small business owners are watching their budgets like a hawk. PPC advertising can be expensive, and not everyone has the financial wiggle room to invest in it.

but here's the thing, sis - there's no one-size-fits-all in the world of marketing. your strategy should be as unique as your brand. if you've got the means to invest in PPC and it aligns with your goals, go for it. don't let anyone tell you it's a shortcut for the lazy. it's a strategic move for the savvy.

whether you choose organic growth, PPC, or a mix of both, what matters most is that your strategy fits your brand and your goals. it's not about following trends or pleasing the gurus; it's about what works for you. so, if PPC is your jam, own it. and if you're all about that organic growth, keep nurturing that garden. there's no shame in either game.

the tea from our agency...

a key strategy we use with our clients is implementing a tiny PPC budget whenever an account is stagnant and needs some fresh faces seeing our content. even a small budget of $3 can have a huge impact on your business.

check out this case study….

our client's account had hit a plateau and we were struggling to get traction on their posts! what did we do? we ran a $3/day campaign for 7 days on their top performing post in the last 60 days.

the results?

their account reach grew by 401% that month🤯 and fyi, only 6.7% of that reach was from ads.

takeaway--

if your page is a bit stagnant and you need a fresh set of eyes on your content, run some ads with a teenie tiny budget on your TOP PERFORMING POSTS to get new peeps in your mix!
